Therapy & Counseling — Telehealth & In Person

Faith Brown, LPC — Ashburn, VA

Licensed Professional Counselor · Serving Children, Teens & Adults

I'm passionate about supporting teens and adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, and life's transitions. I bring both clinical training and my certification as a life coach to therapy so that we can build confidence, resilience, and a stronger sense of self together.

How I Work

My Approach to Therapy

My philosophy is that therapy should feel human: real, respectful, flexible, and rooted in your lived experience. I believe growth is most powerful when it's guided by your values and strengths, and when we approach healing with both intention and heart. Serving teens and adults across Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, and Loudoun County, Virginia.

Compassionate, relatable, and grounding. I create a space where you can be your full, authentic self, unfiltered, vulnerable, and real, while knowing you're met with steady support through every emotion.

I work best with clients who…

Are curious about themselves, willing to explore both challenges and strengths, and open to trying therapy in unique ways, like walk-and-talk sessions, when it feels right.

In sessions, you can expect…

Warmth, curiosity, and collaboration. We'll blend evidence-based methods with creative approaches, tailored to your goals and comfort level. You're encouraged to show up exactly as you are.

At Riverside Counseling and Psychiatry, Faith works with clients from Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, and across Northern Virginia, and offers telehealth for patients throughout Virginia.

Common Questions

Walk & talk therapy combines gentle outdoor movement with traditional counseling. Many clients find that walking side-by-side (rather than sitting face-to-face) makes it easier to open up. Sessions take place along local trails — weather and your comfort permitting.
