How I Work

My Approach to Therapy

I think of counseling like boarding a flight. For that hour, you switch your life to airplane mode. The outside noise quiets. You get intentional space to reflect, process, and recalibrate before landing back into your world with more clarity and steadiness.

Down-to-earth and easy to talk to. I'm someone who can laugh hard with you, sit in the tears with you, and truly be in your corner. Nothing is "too little" and nothing is "too much."

I work best with clients who…

Are ready to engage in honest reflection, open to growth, and willing to collaborate on realistic goals for change. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, self-doubt, or relationship challenges, I'll meet you with patience and encouragement.

In sessions, you can expect…

Intentional space to reflect, process, and recalibrate. We'll work together with evidence-based approaches and compassionate support to help you feel understood, capable, and encouraged.

At Riverside Counseling and Psychiatry, Angela works with clients from Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, and across Northern Virginia, and offers telehealth for patients throughout Virginia.
