Jacob Long, LPC
Licensed Professional Counselor
Adults, Teens & Children
Therapy may encompass a lot of different things, but at its heart, it’s about providing an open space for dialogue. I hope to be able to provide this and much more as we work together toward your goals of mental health healing. Reaching out for help with mental health issues might seem difficult and somewhat scary but it doesn’t have to be. My style of counseling is laid back, non-judgmental, warm, and accepting.
My primary focus in counseling is working with children, teens, and young adults. With that in mind, often times that means working with the family unit as a whole. I utilize therapeutic play in the counseling process when working with young folks. Through play, children are able to express emotions, problems, and needs in a very natural manner.
