Christine graduated with high honors from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Counseling. She also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington University.

Christine believes healing is a process that happens in the context of relationships, and despite the deep struggles that life sometimes presents, there is always hope. She considers it a privilege to come alongside clients who are struggling with a variety of issues including self-harm, anxiety, depression, and a range of childhood behavioral issues. Christine is an integrationist counselor who combines techniques from Cognitive Behavior Therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy, and expressive/play therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

She is a certified RelateStrong facilitator and has received play and trauma therapy training. Christine is actively pursuing a professional counseling license (LPC) in the Commonwealth of Virginia. During her residency at Riverside, Christine is under the clinical supervision of Bernadette Landry, LPC. As a resident counselor, her appointments are not reimbursable by medical insurance but she does offer counseling service at a reduced fee.

Christine sees children and adults ages 4-40.
