She has experience working with a variety of individuals from the private practice where she fulfilled her practicum and internship hours. Deegan has assisted children, adolescents, adults, and families with various presenting issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, self-esteem issues, attention issues, and behavior management.
When spiritual beliefs are requested to be involved during sessions, Deegan is passionate about helping others find healing in Christ. Currently, Deegan is a Young Life volunteer leader at Herndon High School. At Herndon, Deegan spends time developing relationships with adolescents, leading Bible studies, being someone they can talk to about their problems in life, and mentoring them throughout their high school journey.
The individuals and families that have worked with Deegan over the past year have been highly impressed by her mature counseling skills, compassion, and comfort she provides through her counseling treatment. Deegan is eager to help others reach their full potential and find healing.
