Danielle cares for adolescents, adults, and children as young as 7 years old. She is passionate about empowering clients by identifying thought patterns, negative emotions, and behavioral patterns.  As a trained EMDR therapist, she can also help you deal with past traumas that still impact you today.  She offers an empathic and collaborative problem-solving approach to help you achieve your goals.

Danielle utilizes evidence-based treatment approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems theory, and narrative therapy. She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based treatment designed to help clients process and resolve trauma.  Her clinical experience includes work with trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, family conflict, mood disorders, ADHD, parent-child relationships, and women’s issues. 

With seven years of classroom teaching experience, Danielle is familiar with helping students and parents master school and emotional challenges. She is familiar with Virginia IEPs and 504 plans.

Danielle earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.  She also earned a Master’s Degree in teaching from George Mason University.   Her public speaking experience includes presentations on the challenges of Asian American adolescents and cross-cultural adoption.

Danielle cares for children, adolescents and adults.  She specializes in helping children and adolescents with academic and emotional challenges.  With seven years of classroom teaching experience and a Masters degree in counseling, Danielle is well suited for helping students master school and emotional challenges.

In counseling, Danielle uses cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems theory, and solution focused therapy.  Her clinical experience includes work with depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, panic attacks, anger management and relationship issues.

Her teaching experience includes instruction in biology, honors chemistry, and special ed scince classes.  She has worked closely with students of varied backgrounds including those with learning disabilities and behavioral issues. She is familiar with Virginia IEPs and 504 plans.

Danielle earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.  She also earned a Master’s Degree in teaching from George Mason University and has taken post-graduate classes at Dallas Theological Seminary.   Danielle’s public speaking experience includes presentations on the challenges of Asian American adolescents and cross-cultural adoption.
