Kitty works with a variety of issues including: self-harm, anxiety, depression, and a range of childhood behavioral issues. Christine is an integrationist counselor that combines techniques from cognitive behavior therapy, dialectic behavioral therapy and expressive/play therapy. She has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Resident in Counseling
During her residency at Riverside, Kitty is under the supervision of Dan Towery, LPC. As a resident counselor, her appointments are not reimbursable by medical insurance, however, she offers counseling service at a reduced fee.

Kitty Lademan, MA provides personalized care to children, adolescents and adults.  She specializes in helping young adults to overcome anxiety, depression , and relationship challenges.

She works to establish a therapeutic relationship as a foundation for addressing  relationship issues, academic and workplace challenges.  Clients explore past and present experiences in order to set and meet personal goals.

Kitty  earned her Master of Arts Degree (Clinical Mental Health Counseling) from Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.  She incorporates faith-based principles  for those who request integration of Christian belief with counseling.  For those who prefer a secular approach, Kitty uses cognitive behavioral and solution-focused techniques to help clients find relief from anxiety and to restore a sense of wholeness .

Her professional experiences include work in private practice, a university wellness center, and outdoor therapeutic  programs.  She has also served as an elementary and middle school assistant teacher.  Kitty is a graduate of the  National Outdoor Leadership School, Lander, WY and strives to develop leadership skills within her clients.

Kitty is currently a Resident in Counseling at Riverside and is working toward state licensure under the supervision of Dan Towery, LPC.  She does not participate with medical insurance  programs but offers counseling service at a reduced fee.   Kitty is currently open to new clients ages 10 and above.
