Ashley is a Resident in Counseling who specializes in helping couples strengthen their connection and manage conflict more effectively throughout all stages of their relationship. In her work with couples, she draws from training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
She also specializes in working with adults seeking to overcome past trauma, and has completed training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a body-based treatment that utilizes bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements or tapping to enable clients to heal from disturbing or traumatic experiences.
She provides psychotherapy to clients over the age of fifteen and has a wide range of experience with clients seeking to cope with trauma, anxiety, relationship concerns, loss, and life transitions. Ashley earned her Masterʼs Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University. As a pre-licensed counselor, Ashley provides counseling under the direction of Dan Towery, LPC.
