Psychiatrists

Donald Hall, MD is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine. He is board certified in general psychiatry. Before entering private practice, Dr. Hall served as Chief of Walter Reed’s Outpatient Psychiatry Service. He provides individual counseling and medication management and integrates Christian spirituality for those who are interested in this approach. Dr. Hall is the author of Handbook of Psychiatric Drugs and several publications on adjustment to stress. Gregory A. Law, MD is board certified in both child and adolescent, and general psychiatry. He graduated from George Washington University Medical School and completed residency training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. Dr. Law has a particular interest in integrating a Christian perspective into his work with those who are interested.

Psychologist

Douglas O. Lipp, PhD has over twenty years of experience in clinical psychology. He obtained his doctoral degree from The University of Denver. He has worked in schools, hospitals, and private practice settings. Dr. Lipp provides counseling and psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults of all ages.

Counselors

Michelle Bogdin, LCSW obtained her Masters Degree in social work at the University of Buffalo.  She has been a counselor for seven years and specializes in care for children, adolescents, and their families.  She provides counseling for children, adults, couples, and families.



Christine Heaton, LPC, LMFT
obtained her Masters Degree in Counseling and Development from George Mason University and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist certification from Virginia Tech.  She has fifteen years of experience in counseling children and adults.


Cara Kenny, LPC obtained her Masters Degree in counseling for the George Washington University. She has been practicing in the Leesburg area for sixteen years, and speaks Italian and French fluently. She provides counseling for individuals and couples.

Karen Mazzara, LPC obtained her Masters Degree from the State University of New York. She provides counseling for depression, anxiety, and substance abuse and has specialized training in critical stress management.

Dan Towery, LPC obtained his Masters Degree in counseling from Liberty University. He has over twenty years of experience as a church pastor. He provides traditional individual counseling as well Christian counseling, for those who are interested. He has specialized training helping those with sexual problems.

Karen Turner, LPC is a graduate of James Madison University. Her counseling experience includes work at Whisper Ridge Hospital and North Western Community Services. She provides counseling for children and families and has a special interest in helping those with eating disorders.

Mary Wiggins, LCSW graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Masters degree in social work.  She has ten years of counseling experience and specializes in caring for children and adults who have experienced sexual, physical, or emotional abuse.

Lisa Williams, LCSW received her Masters Degree from Catholic University and completed post-graduate training at the Washington School of Psychiatry. She provides counseling to adults and couples.

Margaret Zaepfel, LCSW graduated from Louisiana State University. She provides counseling to children, adults, and families. She offers traditional or Christian counseling approaches, depending on client interest. Unique interests include care for those working through adoption or infertility issues.
